This is a very tidy 1965 Mustang in factory color Ivy Green with a classy Ivy Gold interior. April '64 was the first year of Mustang production, and the cars were initially only offered in convertible and coupe models. The 2 + 2 Fastback was added to the lineup in August 1964 making this the first of a long line of pedigree sporty cars in the Ford stable; later renditions of the FB include the Shelby in late 1965 and the Mach One models in 1969. The 2 + 2 designation refers to the fact that the car could be a two seater with extra flat cargo space, or the rear seat could be flipped up to provide +2 more seats for passengers. There was also a "trap door" that opened up to the trunk area that allowed you to stow extra long items like a set of ski's.

The car has a beautiful detailed engine bay with many factory correct details such as FoMoCo heater hose and correct bay stickers. Fresh components include newer rebuilt altenator, carb, fuel pump, radiator, and new ribbed V belts . The old single pot master brake cylinder has been upgraded to a modern dual that will maintain & provide ample stopping power should any one brake line or slave cylinder develop a leak.
