A Holly 4 barrel carburetor sits on top of a Weiand 8000 series intake manifold. Electric fuel pump located near gas tank. Electric fan behind heavy duty 4 row radiator, and Shelby "R" style front air dam (under the front bumper) makes for cool running. She sits on period correct Style Steel wheels and 14" B.F. Goodrich Competition T/A 195/60R 14 tires. The car has the GT large diameter sway bar, heavy duty front coils & 5 leaf rear springs. Finally we have a 5 Speed Word Class Tremec Transmission with low first gear and overdrive . The Tremec trans and upgraded suspension provide better tracking in the curves and lower RPM's at highway speeds. I |

Features Dual Trumpet
Exhaust routed through the rear valance; exclusive to the Ford GT package.
Front Fog Lights were
part of the GT package, or could be ordered as a separate option
The 2 + 2 designation meant that
the car had two additional fold down rear seats , although leg room was limited.
The seat could be folded down to accommodate boxes or big items, the "trap
door" behind the seat opened up into the trunk and was handy for carrying
long items like skis.
